Talk to your doctor. Everyone reacts differently to the pill so the side effects I experience are not going to be the side effects that you experience. If you are nauseated on the pill, you might want to talk to your doctor about the patch or the nuva ring. You won't have to ingest a pill so, you won't have to worry about throwing up and compromising your protection. Also, try taking the pill before you go to bed (sleep through the nausea) or with a light snack. You can also take anti-nausea tablets like ginger or motion sickness pills to stop you from throwing up.

I've been using Yasmin for 3 years with no problems. It has progestrin which is GREAT. Ask your doctor to advise you.
