If you haven't ate for a little while, and your body is weak, how come the slightest physical activity, (walking somewhere, walking up steps), makes your heart beat faster and harder, then if you had ate? I don't starve myself, I'm at work and I don't have my break until later. I was just wondering. You know when your stomach is basically empty.

If you didn't keep yourself so unnaturally thin to begin with, your body would have the reserves of energy necessary to go from meal to meal without experiencing this.

If you don't like the sensations your extremely thin physique causes, then gain 10 lbs to increase your energy levels!

Now, Bailey, swearing at me isn't necessary. When I was too thin I had the same problem of never being able to stay warm. Sorry you have that problem while you're fat! Maybe you're carrying your extra 20 lbs between your ears.

I would say its because your body is lacking the energy and your sugar levels are low, which puts your body under extra stress (and overworks it somewhat) Its best to always have a banana in the morning, which releases energy gradually over time, and so will last you until lunch!

Either that or make sure you have breakfast every morning and you will not only find that you eat less in the evening, but you will have enough energy to last you throughout the day!

Hope this helps! xx

When you haven't eaten for a while, your blood sugar will be fairly low. If you then use muscles, you're going to need to deliver more blood to the site to supply the amount of energy required than if you had lots of sugar in your blood. So your heart beats faster to do so.

Even though it could only be fatigue, if you continue experiencing this frequently you should at least check your blood sugar levels as you may be developing diabetes. Always try to keep your blood sugar as stable as possible during the day and eat balanced to avoid those kinds of long term illnesses.

That means you are very fatigued and your heart gets "sleepy" like the rest of your body. You should eat promptly when you get like this.
