Oh get a grip. There is nothing similar about those two groups except for them being minorities.
Public displays of affection to the degree that you mention aren't apropriate for ANY sexuality but which do YOU think is better, two men together or a group of men in robes chanting "white power"?
If you can't see the difference, you are the one with the real problem. Bigotry is ugly, perhaps it's time you looked in the mirror to see what's really there instead of what it is you choose to see.

Not the same at all.
Racists are a LARGE group in our society who, for no reason, hate people of another color.
Gay people are a small group who are hated by another LARGE group called "Homophobes", quite similar to "Racists".
If a child sees two men kissing, nothing will happen.
They won't turn gay. They'll just see two men kissing.
Big whoop.
What has come of society?
It's grown up.....unlike yourself.

I'm gay and I have never seen to guys kiss passionately in public. Where the frig do you live if you see that. Maybe you should just come out of the closet and you will be so much happier, or you are a friggin holy roller.

Most racists define their beliefs as being the true way. Racism is prevalent worldwide, in every social and culture. They do not believe that they are being unnatural just superior.
The GLBT community has historically been victims of racist hatred, genocide and ethnic cleansing.
Society has evolved in some cultures, where people in love can express their love appropriately and no one thinks twice about it.
Occasionally there are people such as yourself, but really, your opinions aren't important to anyone, and you know it.

To me, it looks like a gay and a racist are from 2 different ends of this question. A racist makes judgements with no individual experience and a gay person is just responding to their sexual preference. How are they connected?? I also don't believe that racists are a small group in society. It is a group way too large for our own good.

Well gays have fought for equal rights
and many believe they will get them
we not only care about the right to have sex there are so many other things equal right means like discrimination
so when we fight for the right of gay people we are fighting the main stream
something many anti raciest did many years before
main stream use to be racist and they have now changed
so why are the gays make the main stream change their opinions

what has become of society where people like you, who'd rather live in ignorance and fear than dare to educate yourself, learn the truth, and actually meet people who are "different" (and I suspect you have never even actually met anyone who's gay). you've been raised to question and hate anyone different instead of raised to learn about other people and celebrate their diversity. If you continue like that, you're going to be a very lonely person, wallowing in ignorance and hatred.

Im not sure were you going with this but what has become of society is that we dont care anymore and are selfish. But then again its always been like that, we just dont care about different stuff and are selfish about other things now. Its always going to be like that. Or we would be robots.

Racists are bigots. Some gay people are bigoted against the opposite sex. I thought that's what you were going to say, but instead you said a bunch of stuff about gay people and nothing expressing concern over racism.

I'm not sure how it could possibly be unhealthy for children to see adults in loving, stable relationships meeting each others needs. It may not be 'normal' in our society, but whose fault is that?
