Ay stop it! My name is not strange. It's Italian for "with fire". It's actually a musical directive to the performer to play a particular passage with vehement energy or fervid emotion.

The ones that some people are giving their babies. I can't even think of any right now, they are so silly sounding.
I always picture some starry-eyed little pregnant girl (with no husband) writing down all kinds of sounds that she makes up as she goes along.
When she comes up with something that sounds "just dreamy" she chooses that as her baby's name.
Don't they ever take pity on the poor kid and think of the misery they will go through all their lives with a stupid sounding handle like that?

I am not making this up. I worked for an alarm company some years back and we had a customer named--are you ready for this--Marijuana M. (will not use whole last name even though she has to be the only one). She just went by her nickname--Mari J. She said her parents were hippies back in the day. Have you ever in your life heard of such stupidness?
