The largest used to be the Cullinan (at 3106 carats) but it was cut into a smaller diamond, the Star of Africa (503 carats) for the Crown and scepter of England.
There is also the Millennium stone (777 carat) found in 1993
The Lesotho Promise is currently the biggest found this century (at 603 carat), and goes on sale at Antwerp soon.
