Why do people come on here and ask are they pregnant instead of taking a pregnancy test or visiting the doctor?? It's seems there are atleast 3 people everyday with that question. We're not doctors or walking pregnancy tests, why do they continue to ask??

Aepmommy, I just read your question and it's not the type of question I'm referring to. You specifically said it's too early to take the test and you're just excited to know what the chances are. I'm talking about girls who come on here and want definate answers, girls who need to be TOLD to take a pregnancy test! It drives me insane. And I'm not a 'biatch' for expressing my opinion.

god u r soooo right. it drives me mad! i don't see why they think we could possibly know the answer, if they are looking for assurance they are totally in the wrong place. As for the "what are the symptoms" question, just search the bloody question as it has been asked a zillion times they don't need to keep asking"!! aagggghhhh ............. rant over!

Most of them are very young (obviously) and I think they just need someone to talk to, so they come here. I'm sure it's not going to stop, so the best we can do is try to guide them in the right direction. I barely even knew what a pregnancy test was when I 13! Now it's common place for a girl that age to get pregnant! Very sad.

I agree. Not only is it REALLY ANNOYING, but it's pretty worriesome seeing that there are SO MANY young women out there who evidently have NOBODY to talk to about serious, and very personal problems and issues except complete and total strangers on the internet.
The worst part is that they come here and don't even get the help and support they so obviously need, they get insulted and teased and harassed because we're all so sick of the same old sh!t day after day.
I don't know what to suggest to remedy this problem, but any young girls who are reading this need to know that they need to find REAL help, not VIRTUAL help.

What drives ME batty is that the same person will come on here and ask 6 or 8 times over the course of a few days! If you're seriously wondering pee on the stick already and put yourself (and us) out of your misery!!!

Try at least 3 people every 30 minutes! I have no idea why they do that, except they are too afraid to take the next step and find out for sure.

well considering i just asked a question just like this , it will be really easy for me to answer you....Most people have to wait till' they can take a pregnancy test and people like me that really want a baby cant stand waiting....so we go online because everyone in our families our fed up with us telling them "i hope im pregnant " i hope im pregnant" so we ask you jerkoffs what are the chances of me being pregnant CHANCES not asking for a definite answer just something to make us feel better.....You my friend are what we call a biatch!

They are probably young and having sex for the first time and can't talk to their parents or are scared to. They mainly want to know how they can find out if they are and maybe their parents never talked to them about it. They may not know where to go to find out and they may only learn about testing from us. Try to be understanding.

I have had this exact same thought many, many times.

I don't know about everywhere else in the world, but they carry pregnancy tests at my local dollar store; yes, they cost $1.00!!!!

They're looking for some kind of validation, for whatever reason. Some are scared to know, they may be hoping their symptoms can be caused by something else. Some are excited and want to know if they're symptoms are real.

I guess it's cheaper than buying a pregnancy test
