It would be an epic battle, to be sure, but I think Xena would win in the end. She's got way more battle experience and has came back from the dead more times than Buffy!
Love ya Buffy, but you have to go with the powerhouse that is Xena.

Thats a tricky one, one that I think has probably been bothering the scientific community for ages.
In the blue corner we have Buffy, a somewhat supernatural creature with remarkable strength, speed, endurance and an amazing constitution.
In the red corner we have Xena warrior princess... an experienced older fighter, with a lot of skill and agility.
Definitely a tough call, it would probably depend on whether Xena was doing a guest spot on Buffy or Buffy was doing a guest spot on Xena, if however they met in Hercules then I think Xenas extra experience with edged weapons would probably win the day for her

Well Buffy would have no reason to fight Xena as she is not evil any more, and the same goes for Xena. Now Xena might get upset that Buffy is into having sex with male vampires, but she most likely wouldn't fight over it. So I guess a draw.

jmmh is no fun! duh, we know they are characters!!! we are going by the characters they play no one cares about the actresses who play them right now.
i'd say XENA, because she is used to fighting people who are alive. Buffy, fights people who are already dead, then drives a stake into their heart. XENA would rip the heart, still beating out of a live person, if she had to.
