It seems to me that a lot of this stuff is set up by publicists to generate interest in their clients. And to the famous getting married is like our normal peoples version of going steady. I think they have to many irons in the fire to commit time to their marriage to make it work. And why would you try hard, when you can just get a quicky divorce and marry again next week.

I guess not only high profile people, its like middle class tends to marry other middle class, like royalties marry other royalties or people in top ladder of social status. People associates themselves or move within a community who have the same status/background as theirs. It's like marrying their own kind. Since, they're high profile their failed marriages usually magnify by media.

I would have to theorize it may be because high-profile people have a better understanding of what it's like to be in the public eye on a regular basis. Of course, I'd also theorize that very thing may be what leads to their breakups much of the time as well.

Their success has given them an inflated sense of self, so then each is too selfish and egocentristic to be able to fill the other's needs.
