"Plants don't need gravity" means that plants can live and grow without gravity; for example in a space shuttle. They will get confused about up and down though: normally plants grow towards light and away from gravity, so if you take away light and gravity, the plant does not know which way to grow anymore.

"The moon's day-cycle is uncomfortable" because on the moon it is light for 14 days in a row, then dark for 14 in a row and so on. Humans can't stay awake for 14 days and then sleep for 14 days, they typically want a complete cycle to take about 25 hours. Plants also react to light and dark: in light they do photosynthesis, in dark they do some different reactions. So plants probably prefer a particular day-night rhythm as well.

That appears to be a well reply. A few crops have been grown at 0 gravity at the ISS = International Space Station, however I didn't pay attention any conclusions. Perhaps when you ask on the NASA internet web page. zero.four% is most likely the equal as 0 for such a lot crops and animals. As a ways as I recognise, experiments have now not been performed at multiple Earth gravity, however most likely shorter crops might be the outcomes. Animals might need to be trained to stroll at zero.four% of Earth gravity and accidents might most likely arise because of makes an attempt to run. Neil

I don't believe plants need gravity
however the earth that they are grown in needs gravity or the plants and everything else would go spinning out of control.

i think u didn't go thro' the concept of gravity...
gravity is associated with mass... any object in this universe has significant mass to bend down the space-time wrap it I'll posses gravity.... may be it's value may me more or less it depends on the mass of the object
