My Friend has just registered with W.L.M, I can see her as logged in but she can only see me as logged off. We've tried all other ways, has anyone got any ideas?

try doing a repair on yours ie go control panel>add remove programs>windows live mesenger then hit repair. if it doesnt work get your friend to do it on hers.

That's because it's rubbish.
It has so many bugs, it's like a trial edition.
If you ever have to compose a long email, save it to drafts every few minutes or you will lose the lot 10 times.
Complete and utter crap.

I use W.L.M. and had the same problem with my daughter. I could only see her as offline. She had to correct it on her end. She didn't tell me what she did, but, it is something you need to do.
