Every book written for children can be viewed from an adult poin of view as well. Never ending story is one of the best examoles. If you look at the work in a mythological/ architypal approach you will see that there is much more than astory for children in it. It's also interesting from an impressionistic point of view, bcs its main theme is that the raeder is involved in creating the masterpiece as well as the writer........

I think that it is a fantastic story for adults and kids alike. There are some very heavy concepts in the novel that could be applicable to adulthood too. I don't think there is really any such thing as a book just for kids. As a parent, I learned something new from every book I read to my daughter when we used to read together.

I found genuine entertainment in it and I am 35 years old. It was not just a fantasy story there was the whole Father/son relationship, son grieving for his mother and father not coping too well and not seeing what his son was going through. The whole bully thing going on that drove him into the store was sad. Good at the end to get his own back on them. Top book.

It's a great book for kids and adults. Same as The Hobbit or The Jungle Book. One that can just be enjoyed by the fantasy tale in it and can also be enjoyed by those who can read more into it.

That's always been one of my favorites, it's a classic story of the neverending battle between good and evil.

kids book or... A PARABLE FOR OUR TIME!!!!
'The Nothing' is the perfect metaphor for the George Bush administration and all invasive, creeping forms of political Ninnyism.

Great 80's movie! At heart it's a children's story, but there could be more to it.

For Sure! My dad read this book to me when I was 8, and while I enjoyed it, I barely remember what it was about it was so long!
