Ouch!

Well, I would WANT to scream my head off at him and punch him repeatedly. But that will only make things worse.

So, I guess the only thing she can do is calmly say 'Hey, I know you feel irresitably drawn to these sites but when you do that I feel really upset because my need to feel cherished and respected is not being met'. If she's calm and respectful of his needs she's more likely to be listened to and get him to see how upset she is. If she vents angrily I'd bet he would close off and just get more sneaky.

Good luck to her.

I would say that 99.9% of people who have internet access look at porn at some time, it's almost impossible not too because it's everywhere.

Sometimes you do an innocent search and find you have millions of pop-ops with porn all over.

Depends on what type of porn site, if it was for contacting other people that that's a whole other argument.

I'm sure every girl who i've been out with has looked at porn and it doesn't worry me in th slightest.

Would you rather he had an affair?
Would you rather he watch the Adult channel?

Men are turned on by visual images, most women are not so you need to see this as part of him being male.

You can look at a site like Faceparty or Myspace and see that as porn in places with the girls wearing very little, (some are naked) and you can chat to them.

I don't think it's such a big deal.

No body here seems to get it. "its normal" "its natural" "its harmless". Unfortunately thats what comes from too much of something, it becomes less stigmatic, then accepted, then embraced, as if somehow because so many people look at it, then its all good and ok. Just think about it! Watching other people having sex is what most porn is, how sick is that???? It desensitizes the brain to what real sex/love is. 90% of people who start out just by looking at soft core naked pictures, end up escalating to level after level , until its not even a turn on to them unless it gets really nasty. Its like a drug. Its an addiction and requires more and harder, and more graphic and disgusting. Once these images are seen, they are burned into your mind and real sex with a real partner is tarnished forever. Those images CHANGE things.

If a husband/boyfriend visits such sites he is probably trying to get something out of life which is missing for him.
It might not only be sex but it might be a feeling that while on these sites he is in sole control.
If it is sex it will be devaluing the sex he has with you until he reaches the point where you cannot compete.
He might then come off these sites and go looking for the real thing.
It also costs a lot as they are accessed through premium cost telephone numbers. Check your phone bill.

What's the problem? Men are visually stimulated by porn.

If I had a pound for every time I saw "Trisha" or heard this on a discussion show where the women is horrified to find out that blokes look at porn I would be a very wealthy man. I don't see the issue myself. It would be different if the porn was REALLY nasty or of her friends. Then there could be a sick or jealousy thing going on.

mmm.. difficult one!

I have no prob with the watching porn sites, but on a daily basis?? He seems a bit obsessed.

Is he getting off on these at the expense of his sex life with his wife or is this just a bit of erotica?

Does he have a much higher sex drive than his wife?

Is he happy to involve her if she so wished or is this something he is trying to do in secret.

Do they still have a good sexual relationship?

Think I would have my nose put out of joint a bit if this happened to me, BUT so long as I was getting what I wanted aswell and my hubby wasn't literally playing away, I think I would put up with it.

Sorry, I'm not a lady, but my girlfriend knows I look at those sites regularly and doesn't object to it at all. In fact, she participates with me sometimes. Its human nature and guys will always do it. Accept it and things will be fine. Deny it or try to stop it from happening, and the guy will only sneak behind your back to try and do it. Lets face it, its better he does it 'virtually' than in real life.

My significant other looks at porn, and it doesn't bother me any. It's a fantasy, the same way women read romance novels and drool over movie stars--and most people are quite capable of telling fantasy from reality.
