it would never look grey as it is all relative - it's how fast the eye perceives the object relative to it's position - in theory the zebra could stand still and if you moved your eyes quickly it would blur but not turn grey. or alternatively 43.6 mph !!!

dont know bout the zebra, but if you down one tequila shooter, every minute, after 15 minutes, everything will look pink and grey!
