why are there many heavily pregnant women walking alone in the street, why don't their husband accompany them?

i know i shouldn't care, but don't you ever wonder why? isn't it bad for the pregnant woman to be walking all by herself?

There are plenty of reasons why!! I'm pregnant, and I walk down the street on my own all the time. No worries, thats what mobile phones and kind passers-by are for - in case anything happens!!

Here's a few possible reasons:

1- Husband is working to get money to keep new baby.

2- Some may be single mothers...

3- Pregnant woman may want to escape from husband, either because darling husband won't stop fussing over her, or because husband seems to believe that he is sharing all the pregnancy symptoms, and so goes into a "man flu" decline and acts as if he is terribly ill.

3- is my main reason - lol!!

Single moms! Most women that you see walking around without there partners are single moms who got "knocked" up. However, if you see a women with the wedding band and she is pregnant, just because you are pregnant doesn't mean you stay in the house and sit around, someone has to work so while the husbands at work they walk so they can be with the husbands when the husband gets home & it's actually really good for a women to walk when she's pregnant, so that probably why. But i could see where you concern lies!

Yes it is bad for them to be alone and walking,but some women aren't married or in a relationship so they are alone. Then you got some that a no good man is sitting at home with their feet up watching TV while their wife is out walking. It's sad but what goes around comes around. Those men will probably die young......for not getting off their butts and walking instead of helping the woman or walking with her.

I rarely see a pregnant person walking alone, however she is usually with another pregnant person or with a friend. I never do wonder when I see them alone though. Why would they need someone to walk with them and why is it bad to walk alone? I liked to walk alone sometimes when I was pregnant, gave me time to clear my head of all the stupid thoughts we get when we are pregnant. Sometimes the father of the baby doesn't want to walk, could be sick, at work, or other various reasons. Just remember they aren't dying, they're just pregnant..and about the wedding band comment I read. Just because she doesn't have a band on, doesn't mean she is single and stupid. Most pregnant women are so swollen they can't wear theirs anymore. I wore mine on a chain which was usually tucked inside my shirt.

Only joking. Pregnant women can (with in reason) do what they like. Many top runners continue training up to 8 month term. I think the question should have been asked why don't more men treat there pegnant wifes like a demi god and cater to their every need.

Because someone has to work to bring the money home to the wife and new baby!Hubby cant always be around all the time.Heavily pregnant women shouldnt be walking around the streets anyway ,unaccompanied...unless its an emergency and they have to be out!

the quite a few youths of at present are literally evil. A 12 12 months previous has been arrested for burning that guy alive on bonfire evening. yet another crew of children were arrested for attempting to shoot a firework proper right into a woman they were forcibly restraining. It became a lot worse than i will clarify on right here.

My wife was told to walk a lot.This was 27 years ago.I would walk with her in the evenings and week ends.She could kick a small pebble around with out missing a step.We are still married,today is my anniversary,you have bought back a GREAT memory to me .

I'm hoping this is a joke question.

Women don't sit for 9 months waiting for the thing to pop unless something is wrong with their pregnancy. So naturally, you will see them out all times of day, running errands, doing shopping, etc.
