Yes, I left. I knew that we were not meant to stay together. We ended up bringing out the worst in each other. He knew that we had reached the end of the relationship but couldn't bring himself to be the one to call it quits. We were relieved when I did it though. I loved him and I knew he loved me, but sometimes that isn't enough. We no longer liked each other. If you don't like the person you're with (as a person in general) then love really isn't enough. So we got out while we still had some respect for the other and didn't grow to hate the other. Today, we're good friends, but nothing more. We would do just about anything for the other, except go back with the other.

I have dumped someone who loved me before. It is hard when you really do try to like someone, but the feelings for them don't develop. He liked me alot, but I just did not feel the same way about him as he did about me. It was hard because I still wanted to be friends, but sometimes you just know that it is not meant to be more than a friendship even though you know you are really going to hurt the person. You have to go with your gut on this!

Sometimes ending a relationship has more significance than "dumping" a person. Besides, why would you want to be with someone who didn't want to be with you? If this person didn't take the "early out", it would only prolong the pain that would've been in the end - evident.

Yes , I did once.

Why ?
Becausese he liked to blame me for everything.
He always accused me of cheating (I didnt even think aout other people)
He Isolated me from my freinds and family.
He refused to work and wanted to live off my income alone.

In the end i wound up realizeing that to be happy in life you have to love and respect yourself first and foremost.

I have. It was because I did not feel the same about him. I was so relieved afterwards. I felt like I had just laid down such a heavy load and I screamed free at last!

yeah, I thought I loved them but didn't. The relationship went on for 5 months before I finally dumped her. I should've done it sooner.....
