This may not be a satisfacotry answer.. but here goes. Tonight, dont apply makeup. Wash your face with luke warm water, towel it gently and apply this cream called "Exogen A-derma". This is wont remove your pimples overnight but will soften your skin and it wont look asbad. If you cant find Exogen, apply Johnsons Baby Cream instead.

Both are OTC creams. Hope this helps!

Wash your face with warm water and a mild anti-bacterial soap. Now, rub an ice cube all over your face. Do the latter as much as you can before the homecoming. Avoid makeup. Let yourself look YOUNG at the party.

If your skin is even the least bit sensitive, I wouldn't do anything out of the ordinary with regards to how you clean your face! You don't want to try a bunch of weird/irritating chemicals and end up even more red or broken out than you already are. I don't recommend squeezing the pimples, but if you can't resist doing it, put neosporin on them after you do it so they don't get scabby.
