Plant and animal cells are similar because both have a nucleus, but the erythrocyte - the common blood cell in your body throws away its nucleus when it is grown up and is in charge in the blood vessels. Now it can not produce any amino acids, enzymes or energy and thereby it will just live about 120 days.
