If you talking about a make-believe direct mail letter, they
usually address it:
Sample A. Sample,
123 Any Street
Any Town, Any City 12345
But when they create a phoney credit card to use as a prop
for a photo or TV shoot, they use a real name of an employee.
They do this so no one can sue them for using their name to
endorse their product without their permission. They usually pay that person $1 for consideration.
