You see a period movie, one that takes place in let's say, 1980 then when you see the movie they play some songs out of date. That is, they'll play songs from like, 1987.

Just one of my pet peeves....

Yeah, that sucks. Do you watch Ed? There is a scene in Ed where he's going through his subconscious and his friend points out that the music playing in the background won't exist for another four years.

I would love to edit so many things on TV & in some movies.
YES YES YES I get nuts when I see a car that was not even developed yet, or a hat on a man that doesn't go with the spats because no one wore them then. I feel like I am being taken advantage of, or as my mother use to say " They are really insulting your integence"

I think that it is just a few more people not doing their job.
How sad is that? I'm sure that there are other people that will agree with us( You and Me ) but they can't all be on Y Q&A (Haa LOL) Don't you wish one time that you could just call who ever, and say Yo waz up with the sounds? and by the way that car never came in that color EVER!!
Ya think that will eva eva happen? HUH NOT

Any way great thought I had fun telling some one else my thoughts and Beefs (P/Pvs) also.
Have a great day!

Yes Its so common, hate the fact that they (the movie makers) don't even take the time out to do some basic research.. its ridiculous ..its like when you see a flick that takes place somewhere in South America and all of a sudden you see some Mexicans and their huge sombreros playing a ranchera and you go wtf?? that's not the music of the Andes...things like that certainly don't educate people lol

Cheers

It's ok because most of us do not remember the exact year/date of a paticular song/movie . but we just remember that it was released during a particular period , (may be like during 1980-1985) unless it was released recently or it was a very big hit.
