The songs can be in either MP3 or WMA format. I want to add some songs to my PDA. Is there a website where I can download songs for free legally.

All the sites posted so far are illegal. Your best bet, really, is to try myspace.com (some musicians allow you to download songs from their music player) and mtv.com and vh1.com, because both of those sites will give out free songs from albums randomly from time to time.

Best to avoid free sites, there's a high chance you'll pick up a virus. Try Iomoio, I've been using them for 3 years now and never got a virus. Songs are all in high quality bit rate so sound a lot better than the stuff you rip from Youtube. Register with the link below and get 2 free downloads to try them out.
