Thanks for talking with me earlier. Tonight I need some time to get over what has happened today so I'm not really going to be able to IM with you. I just need some time to deal with it. Something I was keeping to myself was the fact that, after missing my "friend," knowing I was most likely pregnant, I was not scared or upset at all. I just pictured having a little baby version of you, and it made me very happy and I knew everything would be okay even though the pregnancy was unintended. I kept on picturing how beautiful of a child we'd have made. I don't know how to explain how I feel. You think I'd feel relieved but I'm not. I'm having a hard time with this. I am sure this is rough on you too since you've had to worry about whether I was pregnant or not. I guess nature just took its course.

You should probably tell her that you love her, and that you are there for her ... that there were a lot of strong and confusing emotions for the both of you ... Just let her know that you understand how she is feeling and that you are there for her.

Also, can I ask how old you are? I know when I was a teenager, I had a similar situation like this ... and I was all emotional and envisioning all these wonderful things, too ... but it was just "teenage angst" as they call it ... very real at the time, but when you look back at it years later you are like "what was I thinking?!?" Just go with the flow and try not to make any life changing decisions. Just love and support one another: kindness is key.

No No No.

Why are people always taking the softly softly approach. Why is she emailing you these feelings. And hello! A pregnancy affects 2 people contrary to most womens beliefs ........

Im sorry but this is a trap. You give her time, she will moan about you not caring. You try and talk to her she will moan about you not doing what she asked.

Give her a day to think about it, then meet up with her and discuss this. Dont let her get away with being so distant. Also I dont know how old you are, but having a baby isnt all great fun. It is a MASSIVE change on your lives.

I'd wonder why she didn't talk to you in person or at least over the phone. Seems like a pretty distant relationship.
