After i re-installed xp all was fine til i started recieving all types of errors from IE6,cause of missing dll-files.Is there a program that seaches and "fixes" ur dll-files? I tried manually fixing them by D/L the files from DLL-FILES.COM, but that doesnt seem to work (could be me) i hate zip-files.

make sure you put the missing DLL files into your windows/system32/ directory!! you can do this by copying the unzipped dll files, then navigating to C:\windows\system32\
and then pasting them into there...

hope that helps, if it does not then you will need to reinstall IE, personally i would install Firefox a much better browser, safer and securer. good luck!!

This happened to me after a Reformat. I had to reformat a second time. This second time I remembered to Physically disconnect my computer from the Internet. Everything worked great after this reformat.

from the start>run dialog box
type in the following:
sfc /scannow
it may ask for your XP disk
it will scan system files and repair/replace any missing files.
