I think it's very difficult to genralise about all the men from one country.
It's like saying all british men are the same but that's not true, we are all diffrent and have diffrent personalities.
You need to work on your self confidence so you can deal with him trying to manipulate you and also try and work out why he is moody, see if there is a pattern to it.
And you could just ask him!

It doesn't have anything to do with his culture, there are men (and women) like that in any race or religion.
The last four traits you named are frequently associated with abuse patterns. If you feel trapped and manipulated, then he probably is already started abusing you, but you just don't realize it since he hasn't hit you (or has he?)
Love alone won't make a relationship last. You need trust and a good understanding of your partner. It sounds like he has neither for you. You need to have along serious talk with him, and make sure there are no interruptions. Turn off the TV, radio, cell phones, etc... If you can't find a way that will make both of you happy, suggest counseling.
If he refuses to even think about compromising with you in any way, then dump him and get away as fast as you can.

According to a survey about faithfulness carried out by Deusche Welle, it was found that the greeks are the most unfaithful in Europe and the Polish the most faithful. It may indaicate why he is sooo possesive. He thinks that whatever he does, so can you and he tries to prevent this by manipulating you. Be sharp and monitor your man for the more obvious signs

hey
I've been out with a greek guy and it was great! it doesn't have anything to do with his culture believe me anyman from any racecan be like this. It's all about who they are personality wise more than their culture influencing who they are. The best thing you can do is explain to him how u feel and take it from there. But don't worry it will work out in the end. My greek boyfriend was the best cook! so that's a bonus too

My ex was half greek and that sounds exactly like him, which is why he's now an ex.
He isn't going to change. Remember that. All that matters is, can you understand him and can you live with it? If not, loving him will make you miserable in the long run.
