They need to be cost effective as they are to be sold on to clients. Otherwise can anyone recommend a home printer that would take different types of card quite happily and not break down?

My neighbours have printed greetings cards (the textured ones with pretty borders etc), they use a posh HP printer, I don't know which model but it's one that can take all different kinds of paper sizes etc. Probably in the £150 - £300 bracket.

A few years ago a firm was advertising to do 80 postcards in a single print run, these days it's usually more like 500 or more though. A local printers may do less but it'll probably be vastly expensive, like £2 a card or something.

Try making your own!

I recently made the invitations for my parents surprise Ruby Wedding Anniversary Party & they looked fantastic - very professional.

Greeting cards are fun, and ever-so easy to do.

Alternatively, there are lots of companies that do small print runs, but the smaller the run, the more expensive each card will work out to be.

Good luck & have fun!

Ring your community craft shops and ask in the event that they inventory Royal and Langnickel taking part in cards from a business enterprise spoke of as Royal Brush. those are attainable in packs of 10 around £2.50 or packs of fifty at £5 to £7. In a textured end like watercolour paper or opalescent in white, cream, pastel numerous, metallic gold or silver, yuletide green or purple. Sizes 3" x 8", 4" x 6", 5" x 5" or 5" x 7". TIP - as all of them are the comparable value the 5" x 7" provides the excellent value as greater taking part in cards look extra elegant & high priced.

If it's a very small number - then you'll probably be better doing it yourself. All you need is a decent printer and powerpoint (Or something similar).

I do mine all the time - dead easy.
