Our Party seeks to cherish freedom, advance opportunity and
nurture responsibility. By trusting people, we help individuals
grow stronger; by sharing responsibility, we help society grow
stronger. We believe that there is such a thing as society, but
it is not the same thing as the state.
Our Party stands for a free society and a strong nation state;
an opportunity society, not an overpowering state; a
responsible society in which each person and every family,
regardless of position or power or wealth, is able to fulfil
their potential, to make their own choices, and to find true
and lasting happiness.

It seems to me that you're attempting a platform for a party that tries to be all things to all people. Several of your clauses contradict each other. Get serious -- what do you really stand for? These are just empty platitutdes. Furthermore, the wording is not "their potential," but "his or her potential."

Nicely put... In other words you want a as small of a state as possible and make sure individuals
I agree with you in that the role of a state government should only be limited to basics such as defending of the society, making sure that the society's common values are implemented as laws, members of the society gets equal basic rights such as education and healthcare... etc. I derive these from your second paragraph. The basic questions are:
- If parents make their own choices and fail, should their children bear the consequences or should still get the same headstart as all the other kids with parents who have made the right choices?...
- Should health care be equally available for everyone regardless of the choices they have made?..
- Should transportation services be available to remote areas where lesser members of the society live even though it results in a financial loss to the society?

I would vote for your party if your answer Yes to the above questions... No will probably mean that you are favoring a dog-eat-dog type of capitalism.

It would be great if you edit your question and give the URL for the website of your party.
