trimming just keeps it in good condition, it doesnt make it grow but gets rid of the dead ends.

all hair has a natural breakage point, and it is normal. It varies between people, its not set in stone. It happens because it reaches its maximum for its strength

Perhaps your wide cans strengthen her hair with the right shampoo/conditioner and other treatments, maybe eating more healthy foods.. worth a go if shes really keen

alternatively, try hair extentions. there are'clip on' pieces which dont damage the hair becasue they are removable, and reusable. With a good hair dresser, it wont look fake.

Hair is constantly growing and falling out. The rate at which it sheds determines your natural length and depends mainly on genetics, as far as I know.

You sometimes see people with hair down to the top of their thighs, but that's about as long as you'll ever get it. I don't think it ever would grow much past that.

Might be worth looking in the Guinness Book of Records to see what the longest length hair is!

its likely that its a heriditary thing. Sometimes hair length is predetermined by genetics. However, it is possible that she is stressing or not eating the proper nutriesnts to maintain growth. Ask her to take supplements like beautiful hair skin and nails. The bottle is at longs and rite aid for abiout ten bucks. That should shape her growing cycle again

If it hasn't even had a trim it is probably all split and dead at the ends and these will just keep breaking off.
