Oregon State has a team too.

Oregon does not have a city that is big enough to support an NFL team.

By the way, I like Portland. However, you have to pull in a large number of people to make an NFL franchise work--they only play 8 home games a year. I know that Portland is bigger than Buffalo or Green Bay, but those franchises have built up a fan base and have long ago sold the box suites to pay the bills. LA could absorb two franchises before the NFL would consider expanding to a secondary market like Portland.

Oh, and I am not from SFO.

A good question. First, I really like the Oregon Ducks. They have climbed the rankings the last couple seasons, and this year QB Dixon is looking very sharp. I would match him up against Quinn of Nore Dame or Booty of USC.
Oregon may not have a professional team because the larger metropolitan areas don't feel there is a significant financial benefit. These cities would include Salem, Eugene and Portland.
Another note on the side, Los Angeles does not currently have a professional NFL team..despite the success of local universities UCLA and USC.

Oregon State Beavers, Portland State Vikings, We can't keep a decent Basketball team how are we gonna get an NFL team...

for FSDHS obviously you have never been to Portland. We are as big as Denver and Kansas City and bigger than Cincinnati, Green Bay and Tampa Bay....

Oregon is not into football like the rest of the country, we'll get a pro baeball team before an NFL team!

Yeah SFO.....uhhh does 41-0 ring a bell!!!!
