Yes Because What I did Wrong I leaned Fast Not to Do Again. Not Like Kids These Days They Give Them Time Out And Then They Do the Same thing Again And Keep Getting Tim Outs and the Keep Doing It they Don't Learn A Good Spanking Should Teach The Kids Not To do it again. I was spanked by both parents - not hard, but enough! And I knew that when I got spanked it was because I really decerved it - they didn't spank for no good reason!
They always did it when I was fully dressed and with hand - never anything else.
Yes, I have a child and I do spank him, but again, only if he really deserves it, or if he is doing something which is putting himself in danger, i.e: running out into a road or fingers in sockets...
I also had my mouth washed out with soap and water for swearing. Good old fashioned punishments work, but don't abuse them!!

i was not spanked as a child, and my children only get spanked if all other avenues have already been passed, its extremely rare for me to have to do it
now, for me i love getting *spanked* hehe but i guess when you grow up its in a different sence that when you are a child,
bring on the spanking!!! (for me that is)

I was spanked, by both parents, with a switch. And yes, if my child acts up, that is one form of punishment I will use while he is young enough to know that if he does something really bad, it will hurt..

I got a slap on bare legs from my mum if I was really naughty.. She was not a mum to say wait till your dad gets home. My three boys got the same from me. It hasn't done them any harm, they have grown to be wonderful men, very caring and respectful of others.

spanked by both parents and i recommend it. But i was also spanked by my teacher with a 1m ruler and i dont recommend it.
