Like can you lock one number off to stop some calls and activate another number for other calls you want to receive.

It is not possible to have two phone numbers on a sim card. Only one number can be assigned to one sim card.
If you need an additional number, then that would mean another contract.... unless its prepaid. But you CAN have 2 different sim card, and change them in the phone whenever you want.

yeap u need a dual sim..though u still have to switch off the phone & on again to switch numbers on some of the dual sims
