I gave up smoking 57 days ago with help from www.quitnet.com
i was on nicotine patches they helped so much and so did the people on that site above ^ ^
If YOU really want to give up then go to that site its really helpful.
what i did in the begginging first though is i kept ciggies in my bag hidden away in a zip, coz when i used to smoke i used to panic so much that i didnt have no ciggies, so when i gave up i kept 3 in a box in my bag so i didnt have to deal with that part.
If it is you that wants to quit, very Good Luck to you, every smoker can quit smoking, we wernt born with a ciggie hanging out our mouth we DECIDED to smoke now you have to decide to not smoke and live longer!!!! Good Luck (im on quitnet.com if u do go on there im Faders-Girl. add me to your friends if you want, ill help u out when u need it)(its free to join quitnet you can pay to get more features but the free one was enough help for me)

Mark Twain once said," giving up smoking is easy, I have done it thousands of times".
I tried many times, Cold Turkey, Patches, cutting back, none of these worked in fact I found myself smoking more. When I suffered a massive Heart Attack which for all purposes I should of died from, my Cardiologist said,"keep smoking and you can find another Cardiologist". It worked, but I had to avoid anywhere people were smoking except outdoors. If I smelled smoke I would move, it took nearly 3 months before the urge left when I smelt smoke and about 2 years before I never felt like a smoke at all. Hope this helps you.

since you smoke that much everyday, your body got adjusted having these poisons running ur body. That's why people with more serious drug problems can actually die by quiting abruptly. You hav to take decrease your amount of cigarettes maybe every few weeks or whatever you're comfortable with. The reason why you were coughing and stuff (tryign to not smoke) was because your body was so used to having 2-5 cigarettes a day. So each week you should decrease slowly from 2-4cigarettes, then another few weeks, 2-3, then so on.

The patch. Follow the directions carefully even if you think you have smoking, keep up with the patches. Along with the patch find a good support group. Never think you can smoke just one. If you do you may as well go to the store and buy a carton.

You need more self control, smoking , is not just a habit it is more of an adiction to the nicotine, and all the other drugs that are more harm than helpful.. you will notice once you stop smoking that your food will taste better, and your hair will stop having that awful ordor.. i think that smoking is so gross..

I quit two years ago with the nicotine patches. Most people say these don't work, but it worked fine for me, I really wanted to quit, and the patches gave me the help. Good Luck!!!

assume that you smoke 20 cigarettes every day
for the first week smoke 18 cigarettes
and the next week smoke 16 cigarettes
the next week smoke 14 cigarettes
thus after about 3 month you will quit smoking
