I'm driving up to Oxford this evening about 8pm and parking overnight, leaving at about lunchtime tomorrow... does anyone know any free parking at that time?

It's better to use the park and ride facilities, and they are signposted well. You might find free parking tonight (when the restrictions are eased), but you'll get a ticket tomorrow morning.

Overnight - park close to where you will be staying.
Tomorrow - assuming you park in a restricted zone overnight, drive to the park and ride, just off the southern ring road. May be free on Saturday, but, if not will be very cheap.
