Also keep getting this "Norton Antivirus 2005 was unable to start Instant Messenger scanner error message" too. This was after installing Windows Live Messenger!! I cant delete the stupid Windows Live Messenger program from my PC to rectify the problem either! Its interfering with other programs. Anyone has any suggestions?

you can manually disable live messenger...follow instructions...
click on start
then run
type msconfig
press enter or click on ok
click on the startup tab
uncheck the box with msnmsgr next to it
click ok
restart pc
when it has restarted you will get another messenger show up saying something like show this message again, just accept the changes and dont let it show you again..good luck any probs message me!!
