Not on any contraception. Just wondered if there was a pill available that could delay the cycle?

Sorry to say but a lot of these answers are a bit misleading.
You can use the contraceptive pill to delay periods ...see 1st link below. This is not such a great idea, especially if you will be flying. The reason is because the ingredients in the combined pill can cause blood clotting and flying can increase blood clotting...not good news when combined. I would not attempt this option without medical advice.
You CAN also get tablets to delay your period starting (See 2nd link below). These are also based on hormones but do not have the all the ingredients of a combined pill...the ones that can cause blood clotting etc. Theses would need to be prescribed too. See a doctor and have a chat about the options available. The doctor won't be shocked this is quite a common request :D

(a) they wager and use data. (b) they use the size of the embryo from the ultrasound and look up length vs. age on a chart. A due date potential no longer something. it may pinpoint what week you're probably to furnish beginning, yet that quite beginning date could be everywhere from weeks to a month or extra off. So guessing the ovulation incorrect by some days or so won't many times matter. those days, the simplest thank you to be sure how a techniques alongside a being pregnant is - they use ultrasound to degree the embryo and look up the size on a chart. For the 1st weeks, the embryo grows at a predictable fee and the size supplies a start up date it truly is many times precise to interior of a few days. Then they upload 2 weeks to furnish "final era" whether the mother replaced into weird and wonderful and that replaced into no longer the suited day - basically so as that they might use well being care expert count selection, which provides 2 weeks to concept date. desire that facilitates.

I do know that the contraceptive pill if taken without a break for when the period is due will prevent the period occuring, it will then start when you stop the pill.
Perhaps the morning after pill will do the same, but I never tried that one.

Have a good holiday.

You could go on the pill for a short time, that will delay your periods, you'd have to go to the doc's or family planning clinic to get them though

You'd need to get on birth control. You can skip your periods that way and have as little as 1 or 2 periods a year and you can plan to have them whenever you want. That's the only way.

Yes, Norethisterone. I've had a similar problem twice and my GP gave me this. I had to start taking it three days before my period was due and continue throughout my holiday.

There is a pill to postone the menstural cycle. Take your friend to a gynicologist who will check and prescribe the pill. Please do not buy over the counter pills.
