When your questions states, "Americans" specifically, people often answer with, "It isn't just Americans, it is the whole world too, you know?"

1) I stated "Americans" in the question. I didn't state "the whole world". Please, answer the question as written. If you want to include the whole world, use one of your questions.
2) Why pass the blame...yes, the problems here also happen everywhere. At least accept that they happen here too. It's OK. We aren't perfect either.
3) When one thing is specified, don't treat it as a hard and fast rule that happens no less than 100% of the time. There is only so much space to write. I just don't have space for every nuance.
4) Lighten up a little...Geez, you're going to burst something if you stay so tightly wound...Relax...everything will end up OK...

It isn't just Americans......
Sorry but as a Londoner from England not America I had to answer your question. I agree pal. You are asking your question to an American because you want an American point of view.

No problems there - totally in agreement!

Hey, try taking this in stride yourself. Chill out a little, make space for human foibles and don't bust a gut yourself. Good luck.
