My 3 month old has so many folds in her neck, she gets milk in there and its nearly impossible to keep clean. She rolls up in a ball when you feed her and moves the towel i place around her neck.
I use wetwipes several times a day which cant get it all. short of putting a bib on her 24/7, any advice?
I love my stinkyneck baby

Use a wet face cloth first not wetwipes. Then dry completely, even if it means blowing with your lips on the neck. Then put baby powder on your hand first then dab it on her neck. DON'T USE LOTION, it will continue to keep it wet and breed germs.

Bath the area with a gentle soap and water daily--- wipe with water only (not wet wipes, which usually have chemicals and sometimes alcohol) several times a day or after each feed. A bit of lubricating natural gel (not petroleum products... go to natural foods store for a better product) will help protect the area from rashes etc. Bad smell is due to bacteria caused by fermenting milk and the skin starting to break down.Warm dark damp places breed fungus and bacteria which lead to rashes. So try to prevent this.

You can try the tips offered, but it sounds like you've pretty much covered the bases. My daughter was like a little buddha when she was an infant, fat rolls literally head to toe (she did thin out eventually), and she collected all sorts of stuff in the folds. It may just be a stage you'll have to endure. As long as you keep her little neck creases as clean and dry (dryness is equally important) as possible to prevent skin infection as much as reduce odor, you've done all you can do.

i would suggest you put a bib on her 24/7 that the only way you will fix this problem. Or you can try putting powder under her neck to keep it dry.

when you give the baby a bath put lotion on- that helps then when she eats put a bib on or place the towel after she curls into a ball.
