If she is playing high level tennis then she will have a coach, so why dont you ask them. Or maybe its all in your head!

try some aqua sessions (swimming) first to strenghten the muscles without the impact of the force of the tenis ball. Easy tennis routine after or some light weight or resistance training, perhaps rehab with a Physio, Exercise Physiologist or Occupacional Therapist. Muscles are easy to rebuild as they have a memory. The problem are ligaments, joints and tendons. They will need around 8 weeks to get their strenght and flexibility back. Take it easy, but be consistent. never miss a warm up cool down and stretching.

Don't let her overdo it. Let her start again at her own pace, if she listens to her body, it will let her know how fast to go.
Let her enjoy her childhood. If this is tennis - hey maybe we'll see in Winmbledon in a few years

don't over do it when she starts back, it took me 3 months after i broke my arm to get back to where i was, but some people heal faster. Tell her if she has any discomfort to stop that session and resume it another day

She'll be fine - a tad rusty, but otherwise okay.
And she's 12!! Let her go at her own pace on this.
