Yeah dam Annoying aren't they, i used to live on a farm and had a the same issue, although we had one that did it no matter what the time in the end we had him for Xmas dinner mmmmmmm very tasty.
You could always get its bits done/cut of... may help. Also may change the pitch of its cry.....or blind fold it so it cant see the sun rising......
or a gag maybe... now that is just a fetish i think. ;-) good luck with him.

Surprising that You live on a farm and do not know that the Rooster (C O C K) always gets up at sunrise and gives a call, its natural to them and there is nothing wrong with it. He is also displaying the characteristics of an Alpha Male.

well monkey, it seems you do have a problem with your pesky co ck. Shooting it might be the answer, but won't that be a little messy? Its a problem a lot of ppl have with their c.ocks getting up too early. It's just a fact of nature, it's prolly gonna happen again if you shoot it.
Good luck

We wake up because of noises when we find them annoying or alarming - learn to ignore it and you'll sleep right through it.
Believe me, I know, we used to live in a village next to a church which, of course, rang out every half hour and on sundays and for funerals would ring for a long time. After some time we just didn't hear it anymore and slept right through it.
Oh, one tip: To avoid stupid answers write ROOSTER instead ;)

well its really up to you. you might need it one day, so i don't know if you like your **** you'll just move it further away from the house but if its mean to you chickens and mean to the other animals and you then just kill it. that and is it commen for farmers to have the internet now a days?
