The number of ad units is counted by the ad units, not by the number of advertisers showing in each ad unit.
So if you use
1 leaderboard + 1 medium rectangle + 1 banner = 3 ad units
no matter if your ad units contain
1 leaderboard = 4 advertisers
1 medium rectangle = 2 advertisers
1 banner = 2 advertisers
Note that the number of advertiser in each ad unit can change

I'm not getting the Mucinex ads on Yahoo, but I do see them frequently on tv. But I agree with you about the advertisers. Yahoo should approach Bang Brothers and see if they want to advertise on here! I'd rather see bouncing bewbs than dancing snot, any day! LOL
