Dreaming is a healthy way for your subconscious to release worries, fears, anxieties, etc. So if you're dreaming a lot, its a natural, normal, and even fun way for your mind to relax and for you to 'get things off your chest' that you didn't necessarily know was bothering you.
Now for your drowning dream...drowning in a dream can mean one (or possibly more) of four things. 1.) to be overwhelmed, usually emotionally. 2.) feelings of loss of self, identity. 3.) problems with mother or motherlike person. 4.) problems in an intimate relationship, often with communication and identity. Water can mean one or more of nine options... 1.) if clear and clean, indicates that problems can be solved. 2.) if water is muddy, the problems are more difficult to solve. 3.) if dirty, then much difficulty lies ahead. 4.) birth. 5.) rescue. 6.) the unconscious. 7.) the womb. 8.) sorrow. 9.) emotions. All dreams are subject for interpretation and only the dreamer themselves can ever begin to understand what each dream means. The best part from these dreams and the interpretations, in my opinion though, is the fact that one can learn something from them and grow in a positive way that can help them in life. I hope these possible suggestions help you to interpret your dream in a constructive way in which you can grow from!! And by the way, if you're interested...the best dream symbolism book that I have ever found was entitled "The New American Dream Dictionary" by Joan Seaman and Tom Philbin. Its really helped me to figure out some of my most interesting dreams.
And as far as deja-vu goes, yes it is very real and I do believe in it. Its too much of a coincidence that EVERY person feels this weird sensation for it to not be real, right??
Happy dreaming!

No dreaming does not mean 'day-ja-bu'.
It does not even mean 'deja vu' -- which is French for having an uncanny feeling that you have seen someone or something before -- but can't quite remember where or when.
Dreaming, on the other hand, is usually taken to mean a normal mental, (although I, and many others, would describe it as a spiritual) activity when you are asleep and unconscious.
You are not abnormal. If you didn't dream every night -- then you would be very abnormal indeed. Many people cannot remember their dreams and wish that they could -- so you are lucky.
You can even train yourself to be conscious during your dreams. This is called astral travel. You can find information about it on the Internet.

Dreams are the way the mind sorts things out. Everyone dreams just some don't remember them. Yes some do feel real, depends on how intense they were. De-ja vu is the feeling that you have been somewhere or done something at some point but you haven't. This is a feeling that you get when you are awake though.

Dream comes from daily experience whether it is affected by media, actual events. It merely projects from your subconscious mnd.
Of course, it means something. Either something from inner thought or your fear or personality. Dreaming like movies could mean you wanted a complete ending like in a movie.
We want to organize subconsciously. Dreaming is one of the way that we fix our thoughts. Perhaps, we more or less are aftected by movies.
As far as de-ja-vu goes, yes I believe that, but not in a dream. That may be called prophetic dream. De-ja-vu oftens mean you are in reality and have been place you are now before

I dream almost every night. I have a lot of dreams that come true. I have a lot of symbolic or literal dreams and not just about me.
De ja vu kind of scares me. It kind of implies another scientific dimension that occasionally I cross into. I have no idea what it means. I ignore it and pretend its in my imagination. After all, it is, isnt it?

Well, the proper saying is "Deja Vu" and dreams really mean nothing. Some people dream and some don't. I have crazy dreams if i eat or drink alcohol before I got to bed. Everybody is different.

There are several schools of thought on this matter. I dream as we all do and I can only reply this;dreams are dreams if they weren't they'd be real.
