IF I USE GMAIL SHELL EXTENSION TO MAKE A VIRTUAL HARD DRIVE CAN I DOWNLOAD FILES FROM THE INTERNET DIRECTLY TO MY GMAIL ACCOUNT WITHOUT DOWNLOADING IT TO MY COMPUTER ???

Well Yes and No.

You can download to your Gmail Drive ( G: for example )
and it will end up on your G Drive.
however it would have been downloaded to a temporary file on your local disk and then uploaded from there to your G Drive
