It's easier to behave like animals than to think and be civilized. And most people are still being raised in a brutal backwards religious philosophy of mysticism, beggary and thievery backed up with force against others.

With education in science and philosophy comes a desire to follow your own reasonable passions, the wisdom to work hard to earn what you desire, a realization of the benefits of dealing with others solely on the basis of fair trade, peace and ever increasing good things for all.

What separates Man from animals? Is it just our loving kindness, our great inventions and quest for enlightenment? No.

It is our superior brain - and our deliberate, violent streak that has allowed us to evolve and rule the planet!

Only the most highly evolved mammals are capable of killing for sport. However, unlike our mammal friends, we humans don’t hunt to survive, nor do we teach our young how to hunt for survival – but rather, we commit violence out of pure, deliberate, malicious intent. We are also the only species truly capable of annihilating other species, as well as other cultures.

Mankind has two sides. We’re not turning into totally better people. Neither are we racing towards total degeneration – at least not yet, I hope.
