Who will actually be good enough to deserve it or who will they give it to are 2 different questions. There are plenty of athletes that will deserve it more but they will probably give it to mediocre quarterback Troy Smith. My vote is for Jamarcus Russell from LSU. He is much better than Troy Smith. People fail to realize that this is an individual trophy, not a team trophy.

Theres alot of guys who could win it but all in all I think it will be Peterson....
