I sent a TM to a friend about three hours ago. I hadn't heard from him and just checked my phone...it shows the message being sent and what time it was sent, but there is nothing about it being delivered. TM is something new to me so I haven't used it much. So I sent a TM to my own phone. A couple of minutes later, it arrived and when I look at my outbox, the message I sent myself has a check mark across the little message envelope and when I look at that message, it shows both a time sent and a time delivered. Does this mean that the message I sent my friend wasn't delivered? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I just sent another one to myself because I couldn't remember if it said anything like "message sent" when I sent the one to my friend earlier. It didn't say anything like that, just showed a graphic of a page going into an envelope. Again it was delivered, and shows time sent and time delivered along with the little check mark on the envelope beside it. None of this is on the message I sent my friend earlier. Now its way too late to send it again or try to call him. UGH!

If it's in your sent items menu, it's sent. And right after u send a text it will say 'message delievered' or 'message sent' etc etc.
Make sure you entered a 10 digit number or else no, the message won't get delivered to the recipient.

Perhaps buddy got the message, and uh, doesn't know how to reply back??

And anyone who says they sent a msg to someone, and they didn't get it, are lying twits. There's the odd network upgrade but that's not done frequently. People making excuses not being able to communicate. Right.

I would resend it. It seems as if the one you sent your friend didn't go through. Usually when a message is successful, it will show "message sent" across the screen once the message is sent through the server. Just resend it, and if it doesn't go through this time, make sure you have the number or email correct in your phone.

Most likely it sounds like the message was sent. Either your friend just hasnt responded cause he doesnt know what to say, or hasnt responded cause he hasnt seen it yet or hasnt responded cause he doesnt have text messaging service.
