I know it's really sad, and the responces people have are so uncaring, and selfish..
You all know we are perfectly capable of getting people food. It takes transportation to get it to them, and giving people to donate it. We deliver mail all over the world everyday, along with many other things. We invade countries and blow them up everyday. Are you all serious that we can't get food to people that need it? COme on! F- your research, and statistics. That's an excuse, just be happy you have a cozy bed to sleep in, and clean water to drink. ETC... ETC....
The only thing I don't agree with is they have children in those conditions. However that is all the more reason to give them help. We can do it. It just doesn't happen.

Actually, we do spend billions of dollars helping the poor, the homeless, and the sick. According to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development the United States gave 27 billion in aid during 2005 alone.

There will always be people who want to kill and blow stuff up. Not everybody has a heart of gold. Some people have black hearts as cold as ice. Look at the leaders of Iran and North Korea. Kim Jong Ill has one of the most poor countries in the world but one of the largest military spendings.
Saddam Hussein was an evil tyrant with war on his mind who spent his money on his palaces and gold toilets while his country suffered with poverty.
It's a shame that there is so much war in this world. But the idea of global peace is a dream. There will always be tyrants, war hungry leaders and Presidents who don't care about their country. Be thankful for the country you live in.

it is used to help our fellow man. look at WWII. Hitler killed hundreds of thousands, and we went in and stopped him from expanding his regime, which would allow him to kill even more people. Now bin laden crashes a plane into the world trade towers, and its left up to the US to stand up against terror again. It shouldn't be only our responsibility, but unfortunately the UN is full of greedy nations with their own agendas. although the war on terror is a never ending war (terrorism will last as long as humans are alive), I believe it is necessary, especially when we as a nation are being provoked. plus, there will always be poor, homeless and sick people as an effect of human nature and darwinism. the sick are being helped with millions by both rich benefactors supporting research and US taxpayers dollars and the poor and homeless are there because of their own bad decisions (for the most part.) We must learn to be realistic in times like these.

They have a gene disorder? I hate war and fighting but I love the freedom that I have and my family. I like my home and the things that I have. I never have nor ever would go out of my way to pick a fight with anyone. Yet I will defend my home and family against anyone who would harm them or try and rob me. If this makes me a bad person then that's what I am. Taken to a broader scale there are those on this rock who want to kill me and you in fact the whole free world is what they aim to conquor. Do we defend ourselves by fighting back or just lay down and let them kill us? I guess I pick fighting back maybe that's wrong. I'll let god judge me on that one. Until we can all live here in peace which I pray for every day we have to what we think is right.

In America its because the republicans are in control. The richest of the rich only see dollar signs. The average Joe that votes republican is blind and deaf. He doesn't see that his party is really not in favor of him at all.
