Well guess what, life isn't fair. If he no longer has money then I guess you will just have to make your own way in this world. And I bet you will enjoy it a lot more knowing you did it yourself and didn't have a hand out like all the others.

There are a lot of people don't have a chance to go to public college not even dreaming their parents would buy them a car. You are lucky enough to have a computer, internet access, receive education. If you want a car or property, why not study hard and earn your million dollars, not using your father's millions.

Public college isn't bad and it's good that he can help with your college tuition. You should be happy for that. If you study well in college and have a good major, you can get a good job afterwards and be able to buy your own car. You can also talk to your father about what you think and your concerns and see if he can help you out. Maybe you just need to communicate with your father and let him know what you think and see if he can help you more because sometimes he may not know what you think and what your concerns are until you talk to him about it and make him understand.

dude, quit complaining, get a job and buy your own P.O.S. car like the rest of us had to.
I don't feel sorry for you, my family has no money for tuition, in fact my dad was so poor he didn't pay child support like he was suppose to. and them child support checks were only about $9 a check when i did get them.
Count your blessings that your dad has enough for your tuition, many people want to go to college yet we can't without FAID, and even then the FAID may come one year then be denied the next.

My dad was well off and I paid my own university. I also had a job thru high school and I am a lot stronger now because of it. I appreciate those employees more now than ever. This should be seen as a life lesson. Live it and love it and learn it.

Be happy that he has something, and see if he can help you get the financing to go to the school you Really want to go to. You have your entire life for education, where you start at isn't going to make that much of a difference.

Unfortunate to have such a selfless, loving, dedicated, caring, loyal father.
We should all be that unlucky. Stop being so selfish.
