Basically, it literally means:
"good [or happy] appetite (( or you could say "happy eating!" AND cherie; is Darling!
So
Happy eating darling!

That is French, meaning "Good food, dear" or "Good eating, dear." The more common meaning is "happy eating, my friend.

Bon = Good
appetit - food/eating
cherie = dear (amie or amiee = friend)
