I found the pineapples, got Yoshi, went through the maze and ground-pounded the cracked tile, but how can I get to the room w/ the shine sprite? Every which way I go I can't get passed the guy who says i need thhe proper swimming attire or gear?!!!

In the hotel, you need to get on yoshi and go into to the room with the open door on the third floor. In the room is a bed. You should jump onto this to get into the top of the hotel. There are many cracks in different spots and all you need to do is ground pound on the crack above the swimming pool room. Then you will have you shine sprite.

LOL I beat this game a long long time ago if I remember correctly there is a room on the top floor with another dude in it with a bed if you look up you should see a opening jump into it and there should be a maze at the top you gotta figure out which hole to drop into there are I think like 3 and it won't show you so you'll have to figure out yourself hope I'm right good luck

There are many places with crack tiles. You have been to the attic, right? There is a bed you can jump on to get to the attic, but I think you've probably already been there. Yoshi can eat those ghosts up there to get them out of the way. Then you just have to find the right cracked tiles to ground pound, and you will fall into the room with the shine sprite.

Thier is a cracked tile right behind the guy that is blocking your way my advice look for the tile right near the one that puts you on the other side of the shine sprite
