I'm right handed, and want to know how I can improve my left handed dribble. Of course I can do things like just dribble with my left hand and drills and the like, but I think to be truly good you need to do more. Outside of the drills, what are some things I can like will reading or watching tv that will help me? Just in everday situations. Any suggetions would be appreciated, thanks.

When I said movies and the such, I mean what can I do with a BALL while doing these things. Can I hold it in my hands, or play catch with it or something? Something outside of the court.

Tape you right hand behind your back and then do layups and crossovers using your left. Do this for like an hour each day without playing for real for a whole week doing so. Then play a little bit to get used to it, then do a couple more days of the same thing. It will come, but just needs to be forced and trained just like your mind.

You can try things like using your left hand when eating and holding more things with your left hands. Also, lifiting weights with your left arm will help in not only your strength, but your ability to control your dribbling more and you will also benefit in your shooting. Also, practicing is also good to improve. Try doing more lay-ups with your left hand, and also, in oyur spare time, try to spin the ball with your fingers about 60 times per day..at first your muscles might feel sore in your left arm so skip a day if you have to...as they say, practice will make it perfect and your left arm will gain more control...and its also really cool to do a spin with your left arm as many people can't ;)

Tie your right hand behind your back, and dribble only with the left hand, even shoot only with you left hand. It'll increase you control of the ball and your left hand's strength.

Practice.. Its that simple.
You can watch movies & read books all day long.. but it wont teach you to actually DO it.. you have to practice it..

If you have to tie your right hand behind your back.. where all you have is your left hand.. Then have a go at it..
