It all depends on the person some say chevy some say ford . To me it depends on how well you/anyone take(s) care of the vehicle be it chevy or ford. Personaly I prefer chevy but I have had fords to I had a ford festiva and I drove it 2quarts low on oil for quite some time when I sold it ,it stil ran like it was new and probably still is. I also have a camaro that was my first car I have had it for 10 yrs plus it was prior owned it runs great.

easy anser look at how many old chevys r still around chevys my preferance and id bet most will aggree lots of old chevys around with lots of milage on them ford around to but only cause someone rebuilt them or kept spending money on them

Chevy. They are more reliable and generally have more power. Also, if they do break down, they are usually easier to work on and the parts are cheaper.
