many neighbors in my area have been hit by people stealing the gas from cars parked outside I rarely do this but I know some cars have anti syphoning screens or whatever I'd like to know what types of cars have these I have a 2000 buick century I know some people say older cars don't have these things but how old is old?

i have a 2005 dodge stratus r/t coupe

mine has the anti-syphoning devide on it too, but it also has a too for being able to syphon made SPECIFICALLY for my car

what the syphoning device in my car does is pinch the hose being used up to 1.4 inches round

Some cars have screens in them and some don't. I remember cars in the 70's with screens and some cars today don't have them.
The trouble is that a screen can become plugged and prevent you from putting gas in your car, or worse cause gas to spurt out when you gas up.
The best idea is the lockable gas cap door. As long as that little cable that operates it doesn't bind up or break, it works the best.

a 2000 is more then safe but you can go to any parts store and bye a cap that locks if you want their cheep and most 90s cars is wen they started
